I recently had some dental work done at Sierra Center For Dental Wellness where I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Felix Zhang. In my previous experience with dental work done by others I found the work I had done to be less than desirable and I was defiantly not looking forward to having my wisdom teeth pulled by Dr. Felix. Upon meeting Dr. Felix I told him about my previous experiences. Dr. Felix then began to reassure me that it was going to be ok. First off he explained to me the importance of why the work needed to be done; then he told me exactly what would happen during the procedure. I have never had any dentist explain things to me like he did, in doing so I began to feel more comfortable and trusting of Dr. Felix.

In my previous experience I had my two lower wisdom teeth pulled out and this procedure had left me with permanent bruising on my face and it took two weeks for this to heal and the procedure took over and hour, also I would like to note that my previous dentist told me that they could not remove my upper wisdom teeth because they were afraid of damaging my other teeth. I did tell Dr. Felix about this and again he guaranteed me that this would not happen to me again and that there was nothing to worry about permanent damage. Dr. Felix told me that with the removal of my upper two wisdom teeth would only take about 20 minutes and that the pain would only last 1 to 2 days and I should be able to go to work the next day with out any major discomfort. I will be honest I did not believe him at the time but he was very confident and I trusted him.
I am very happy to report that all went very well and Dr. Felix actually did the procedure in less time that he had told me that it would take and the discomfort only lasted of a little more than a day and I was also very impressed when he actually took the time to call me the next day to see how I was doing, I think that the shows real character.
